Hynes Industries Appoints New Leadership Team Talent

Announcement of CEO, Organizational Changes Within Commercial Operations

December 6, 2016 (CLEVELAND)—To support ongoing growth goals, Hynes Industries, a leading North American manufacturer of rolled formed shapes, strip steel and flat wire, announces organizational changes in executive and commercial operations roles.

The new appointments will serve to support executive leadership, business development, sales engineering and customer success.

Organ to Serve as CEO

Rick Organ joined Hynes Industries as Chief Executive Officer in October 2016. Organ is an accomplished CEO, having led the growth and transformation of multiple manufacturing and supply chain organizations. He brings proven success in executing growth strategies, driving sales, rationalizing costs, developing people and processes, and increasing profitability.

“I’m grateful and eager to come onboard Hynes Industries at such a pivotal point in the organization’s history,” said Organ. “From bringing new facilities on-line to restructuring talent around our core commercial capabilities, our team is well positioned to provide customers with the industry’s highest levels of engineering, production and technical support.”

Commercial Operations Leadership Appointments

Since joining the organization, Organ has announced the following appointments to key leadership roles within the newly created commercial group, effective immediately.

Doug Campbell will head the group, assuming the position of Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, Campbell will be responsible for overseeing sales, sales engineering, customer service, marketing and product innovation.

Mike Giambattista will lead Hynes’ sales efforts in the role of Senior Vice President of Sales. He will focus on driving sales by directing and overseeing inside and outside sales teams.

John Stanley will be taking over as Director of Sales & Product Engineering. Stanley’s principal responsibility will be to collaborate with customers and sales to drive new opportunities, to align customer needs with Hynes’ capabilities, and to direct the technical aspects of estimating new opportunities.

Rob Touzalin will assume the newly created role of Vice President, Product Innovation & Business Development. Touzalin will work directly with new and existing customers and sales engineering to explore innovative opportunities and applications aligned with Hynes’ capabilities.

“I am confident that these changes and these four gentlemen, along with the collective support of their teams and the organization at large, will establish the foundation necessary to put Hynes on a path to significant future growth,” said Organ.

Organ and Campbell both hold roles within Resilience Capital Partners, the private equity firm that acquired majority ownership of Hynes in August 2014. The Cleveland-based firm focuses on investing in and improving lower mid-market companies in niche-oriented manufacturing, value added distribution and business services.
