Truck/Trailer Manufacturing

Rolling the parts that move America.

Our Role in Truck/Trailer Manufacturing

For over 25 years, Hynes has been recognized as the leading truck/trailer fabrication expert. Serving over 30 unique customers in this segment, our experience in this market is second to none. We collaborate with all segments of the truck/trailer industry to support custom builds for long haul trailers, final mile, platform and flatbed trailers, reefers, and RVs and buses.

We can build components to your specification with material thicknesses that range from .030 inches to .25 inches, and we work with numerous types of ASTM steel alloys including stainless, HSLA, hot roll, cold roll, galvanized and galvanneal, aluminum and more. Hynes often collaborates directly with OEM design engineers to reduce weight, trade-off material thickness vs. strength, and optimize cost, function and manufacturability.

Trust us to help you design and manufacture unique OEM shapes—to your specifications—for your trailer or truck body builds. Alternatively, look through our already tooled aftermarket parts catalog for profiles that we can produce with little or no incremental tooling cost.

  • Structural rear frame, fan tail and bumper assemblies
  • Trailer side posts, roof bows, scuff/scuff plates, logistic posts
  • Cargo restraint systems including E-Track, A-Track and winch track
  • Welded assemblies and profiles

Let us collaborate with your team to design and manufacture weight-saving designs for your next OEM part.

  • Longsills and crossmember profiles for structural framing
  • Roof bows, side posts, logistic posts and Z-posts

It’s possible we are tooled and ready for production on many of these parts.
