YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio, Feb. 21, 2022 — Hynes Industries, a leading North American precision-engineered custom roll forming and metal fabricating manufacturer, is pleased to have been featured by the Business Journal in Youngstown for its commitment to growth and surpassing rising demand.
Across two articles, the Business Journal highlights the $3 million investment Hynes Industries has made for a new production line at its Youngstown plant—the first new line in a decade. The new roll form line includes a new 150 ton press and all new roll form tooling and automated controls to help meet the exponential growth in demand for Hynes customers that develop and deploy fully integrated automated material handling systems. Hynes also has a new 400 ton press to support roll forming for customers in their two other high-growth segments for Truck/Trailer OEM and Solar Energy applications. This year, the company also plans to invest another $3 million into its operations, part of which includes hiring more employees.
“This is more than an investment in a new product line,” said Hynes Industries President & CEO Rick Organ. “This is an investment in our people, and in our growing company. This year, we plan to hire about 20 percent more employees than we currently have staffed, which is a true testament to the demand we’ve been seeing. We’re looking forward to supporting our growth goals and creating promising careers within the Youngstown area with these critical investments.”
