The September issue of Fabricating & Metalworking magazine features an article by American Roll Form Products President Phil Misch. The article, “From Producer to Partner,” touches on adopting a cost avoidance approach, aspects of supply chain optimization, total cost of ownership and how choosing an all-in-one supply chain partner can take your business to the next level.

ARF has experience fabricating and redesigning solar applications including panel support channels, ground mount racking, roof mount racking, ground pilings, module rails and PV framing.
The Spring issue of the Cleveland regional MeritMatters features American Roll Form Products and President Phil Misch. The article, “Keep Rolling,” highlights ARF’s mission to become a full service metal fabrication partner through diversification of services, a commitment to efficiency, and “aggressive customer service.”
Since its founding in 1960, ARF has evolved from a metal fabricator into offering a full range of metal fabrication, consulting and engineering services; inventory management; assembly and shipping. Bringing together engineering and sales, the company helps customers achieve greater efficiencies through innovative product design and alternative production solutions.
American Roll Form Products was awarded the 2013 Safety Award by the Lake County Safety Council in conjunction with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. The award honors organizations for their efforts in preventing accidents and injuries in the workplace. The accolade was recognized by U.S. Congressman David P. Joyce, representing Ohio’s 14th congressional district, who bestowed a Certificate of Congressional Recognition and Achievement.
ARF credits the award to safe operating procedures that include a lockout/tagout program, job hazard safety assessments, a safety incentive program, implementation of 5S methodologies, improved near miss and incident reporting, and weekly facility audits. The company’s safety program has reduced recordable injuries by 66 percent decline and days away from work by 40 percent.
American Roll Form Products, a Cleveland-based, full-service metal fabricator, was honored for its measures in sustainability. The award recognizes suppliers for initiatives that complement or directly contribute to the five areas of the customer’s environmental policy: continual improvement, pollution prevention, suppliers, communication and training.
ARF has a longstanding history of sustainability that displays a commitment beyond compliance and a track record of continuous improvement. Initiatives include green operations, responsible energy and resource management, innovative waste disposal and pollution prevention—not to mention running an 80 percent recyclable process since its founding in 1960.
- 2010: Within six months of adopting waste-stream management, ARF's classification as a Large Quantity Waste Generator was reduced to a Small Quantity Waste Generator by the Environmental Protection Agency.
- 2011: ARF replaced lower efficiency sodium lighting with natural skylights and T8, presence-aware lighting, reducing energy usage by 70 percent and improving product quality through greater shop floor visibility.
- 2012: ARF's internal recycling initiative reduced solid waste destined for landfills by 40 percent in the first three months.
- 2013: Implementation of coolant filtration systems extended the usable life of ARF's largest waste-stream by 40 percent, while a partnership with Everclear allows the company to recycle coolant waste into other usable products.
- Today: The company participates heavily in the alternative energies markets, such as solar.
American Roll Form Products was featured in the April/May issue of The Tube & Pipe Journal for its unconventional approach to product engineering and prototyping. The case study highlights ARF’s work with an OEM customer seeking to compare the cost and functionality of a roll formed part with an extrusion.
In addition to computer modeling and finite element analysis (FEA), ARF’s engineering team worked with the customer to develop a complex and cost-effective prototyping process. Successful prototyping tests product design viability before a major investment in tooling is made.
American Roll Form Products, a leading custom metal fabricator, received prominent recognition for its continued dedication to advancing manufacturing while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
American Roll Form Products (ARFP), a manufacturer of custom roll formed products, recently installed a new rolling mill designed for high-speed and flexibility at their 53,200 square foot newly opened satellite manufacturing facility located in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
ARF was thrilled to have the grand opening of our North Las Vegas manufacturing facility featured in the Review Journal, Nevada's largest newspaper.
